
Dr. Cindy Icke graduated from the San Francisco College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and received her California acupuncture license in 1983.
She attended Pacific College of Naturpathic Medicine for three years prior, gaining knowledge of both Western medical diagnosis and treatment and alternative therapeutic modalities.
She earned her Doctorate in 1987 from Samra University of Oriental Medicine in Los Angeles, CA.
She earned a Bachelors degree in Psychology from the State University of New York in Buffalo in 1976. Studying psychology has enabled her to counsel, communicate and understand the emotional and mental aspects of injuries and illnesses.
She was a clinical supervisor and teacher at the San Francisco College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine 1983-1990.
She cofounded Quan Yin Acupuncture and Herb Center of San Francisco in 1984.
She worked at both the Haight Ashbury Free Medical and Acupuncture Clinics throughout the 1980’s.
From 2007-2010 she volunteered at the Charlotte Maxwell Clinic for low income women with cancer.
Dr. Cindy Icke is currently in private practice utilizing all her education and clinical experience to help patients achieve their best possible health.
